Speakers & workshops available in conjunction with local Catholic
Parishes (e.g. Tuesday’s during Lent – “The Universal Call to Holiness & A
Better Understanding of the Sunday Liturgy” presented at St. Paul the Apostle
Church by Fr. Ben Roberts; “An Evening of St. Francis” presented by Fr. Jack
McDowell, OSF at 7:30pm on Thursday March 18, 2010 in the ACM Room 214)
Rosary: Friday 4:00pm (ACM Meditation Room 206)
Stations of the Cross (during Lent) 7:00pm Friday at Our Lady of Grace
Church (some transportation is available)
Small Faith Community – preparation for the Sunday Scripture Readings
(time & day varies – currently held from 7:15 – 8:15pm Wednesday)
Liturgy of the Hours (Morning and/or Evening Prayer once a week) is
available according to student interest
Sunday Mass: a variety of times and area churches. Transportation from
the ACM Building is available for some Masses. Call Sr. Eileen if you would
like to take advantage of the car pool resource.
Second Sunday of the Month – 4pm Mass at
Thea House followed by a
sit down dinner with all the trimmings
Retreats: planned each semester
Participation in Diocesan and/or Parish Events such as:
Eucharistic Congress,
Fall Leadership Days,
Give Your Heart Away Weekend
(service), March for Life and
Alternative Spring Break (service and/or pilgrimage)
Ecumenical Experiences: social, service and spiritual activities with
other campus ministry groups on campus (e.g. homeless outreach, Red Cross
Blood Drives, Ash Wednesday Service, Baccalaureate, Wii competitions, Opening
Picnic at the ACM, Pancake Breakfast, Halloween Party, Multicultural
Interfaith Prayer Breakfast, weekend trip to Quaker Lake Retreat Center and
the End-of-the-Year Semi-Formal)
